The way we look after our aircraft equipment and carry out maintenance are major factors in keeping our perfect safety record. We are fortunate to have a first-class engineering department always available to deal with any issues as and when they happen. If there’s a problem developing we don’t have to wait for a scheduled slot to sort it out; the team is on hand to tackle the issue as soon as the aircraft returns to base.
All our major engine components are sent away to authorised service centres either in the USA and Europe for required work, while smaller components and navigation equipment are always exchanged with the manufacturer rather than repaired locally. We like to know that we can trust our equipment, and we think it’s important to our clients too. Flying should never be about taking risks.
